The Healthy Seixal Training Program intends to animate workshops aimed at various population groups, offering a set of technical support and pedagogical material to fulfil these workshops. As a heath education program, the Healthy Seixal Training tries to encourage people to follow healthy lifestyles, prevent risk behaviour and promote community participation and debate for health.

Goals: To support the training of health technicians, helping them understand and use music as a means of creation and reinforcement of healthy behaviours, especially in promoting the healthy development of children.

Target Groups: Child health technicians, health technicians that provide follow up and training for pregnant women, nannies, kindergarten teachers and technicians that provide training for parents.

Viewing/use time: Variable

Goals: To help reduce domestic and leisure accidents in children and young people up to 14 years old.

Target Groups: Kindergarten teachers, nannies, parents and guardians, as well as other relatives and childcare professionals.

Viewing/use time: 17 minutes

Goals: To alert parents and other guardians towards developing skills with their children or pupils before they go to school and during the first school years, creating a greater involvement and a philosophy for preventive education.

Target Groups: Parents and guardians, kindergarten teachers and Elementary School teachers.

Viewing/use time: 2 * 2 hour 30 minute sessions, approx.

Goals: To suggest an oriented reflection concerning a number of issues related to sexuality in adolescence.

Target Groups: Teenagers, parents and guardians, teachers and health technicians, as well as technicians from other professions who work with adolescents.

Viewing/use time: 18 minutes.

Goals: To offer training on elderly self-care, to show the main elements to healthy ageing, to reveal the existing community answers, and to offer practical recommendations on this issue.

Target Groups: Elderly people, their relatives, and formal and informal elderly health care providers.

Viewing/use time: 26 minutes.

Goals: To alert the community towards environmental issues and an effective attitude change in view of the identified problems.

Target Groups: General community, namely school population and senior citizens.

Viewing/use time: 12 minutes.
