The
Health Profile for the Municipality of Seixal
is a diagnosis for Municipality health,
and one of the requirements for joining
the WHO European Healthy Cities Network.
It was based on extended research, which
has allowed the identification of a set
of needs and several potentialities related
to the community health and quality of life
in our Municipality.
This diagnosis for Municipality
health comprised indicators in several areas,
such as social-economics, health, education
and environment.
The proposals
presented in the Health Development Plan
for the Municipality of Seixal reflect the
Health Profile, which is a guideline for
future work and a basis for said Development
Plan.
